Klaviyo Agency
Your Klaviyo partner for the technical side of marketing
Digit-One is a Klaviyo partner and the agency for the technical side of email, SMS and WhatsApp: we build Klaviyo into your Shopify stack so customer data is right, double opt-in holds up under GDPR, multi-language works and automations run on data you can trust.
We don't come from campaign craft, we come from the stack: we build the foundation on which email marketing sells.
And because good email marketing is really two disciplines, we split them honestly: implementation is ours, and for strategy audits and ongoing flow optimisation we work with specialised Klaviyo partners such as Andzen. That way you get both at a level a single agency rarely delivers.
More than newsletters: what Klaviyo really is
If Klaviyo makes you think of a newsletter tool, you are a few years behind. Klaviyo today is a B2C CRM: a platform that unites marketing, customer service and analytics on one shared data foundation. Every order, every click, every return lands in the same customer profile, and that is exactly where campaigns and automations come from that don't feel like mass mail.
On the marketing side, Klaviyo runs email, SMS, WhatsApp, push and signup forms from a single system. Add the K:AI agents: Composer creates campaigns and takes over recurring tasks, while the Marketing Agent keeps optimising alongside. On the service side, Helpdesk, Customer Hub and the Customer Agent grow into a support setup that uses the same customer data as your marketing. And underneath sits the Klaviyo Data Platform, a CDP that brings all sources together and makes them measurable with Marketing Analytics.
For you, that means one less tool per job and one data model for everything. For us, it means the integration has to be right. Because a CRM is only as good as the data flowing into it, and that is exactly where our work begins.
In one sentence

What we build for you with Klaviyo
Multi-language Klaviyo, solved properly
The standard Klaviyo-Shopify integration is set up in minutes, plug and play. There is just one thing it cannot do: multi-language. If you run a shop in several languages, you can either send everyone emails in your main language, run a separate Klaviyo account and subscription per language, or solve it properly.
Properly, for us, means one central Klaviyo account in which every customer automatically carries their language. We sync the language from Shopify to Klaviyo as a profile attribute, create a newsletter list per language (so double-opt-in mails and unsubscribe pages are genuinely translated) and segment flows so the welcome flow starts in Italian when the customer ordered in Italian.
Technically, we work with Shopify marketing automations directly against the Klaviyo API: no extra tool, no middleware, no additional monthly bill. This is exactly the kind of solution we mean when we say we come from the technical side.
Why it matters
Multi-language is where most Klaviyo setups give up. For brands selling into several countries, it is the difference between mass mail and a customer relationship.

Klaviyo in the overall system: every layer does its job
We think of shops as systems: Shopify is the commerce layer, the ERP stays the ERP, and Klaviyo is the marketing and CRM layer. Each layer does what it does best, and data flows cleanly in between. That is why, for us, the Klaviyo integration is an architecture decision, not a marketing budget item: a flow is only as smart as the events feeding it.
In practice, that means order and customer data comes consistently from Shopify, retail or ERP data docks where it belongs, and Klaviyo receives exactly the profiles and events that make segmentation valuable. We show how we build such integrations in our apps and integrations work.
The rule of thumb
Complexity belongs in the architecture, not in the marketing team: when the data is right, every campaign gets easier.

Klaviyo charges by active profiles and sending volume: the bigger the list, the higher the monthly subscription. There is a free entry tier for testing, and for growing shops the price scales with success. The exact tiers change regularly, so we calculate it in the first conversation based on your real list size, including the question of which profiles need to be active at all. That is often where the savings are.
No. Klaviyo is a B2C CRM: alongside email, the portfolio includes SMS, WhatsApp, push, signup forms, customer service with Helpdesk and Customer Hub, marketing analytics, a customer data platform and the K:AI agents. Newsletters are just the most visible part. The real value is that every channel works on the same customer profile.
The basic integration connects Shopify and Klaviyo in minutes: customers, orders and product data sync automatically. The real work starts after that: mapping consent correctly, verifying events, structuring lists, testing tracking. We set up the integration so it also works with multiple languages, multiple markets and the rest of your system stack.
Yes, but not on its own: the standard integration ignores languages. We solve it with one central Klaviyo account in which every customer carries their language as a profile attribute, with separate newsletter lists per language and segmented flows. Every customer gets emails in their language, without you paying for several Klaviyo subscriptions. That is exactly how we build it for multi-language shops.
Yes, if the setup is right. What matters is a clean double opt-in, correctly mapped consent from checkout, and translated consent and unsubscribe pages for multi-language shops. For us these points are part of the standard setup, not an add-on.
For Shopify shops, Klaviyo is usually the stronger choice: the integration runs deeper, events and catalogue data are available without detours, and segmentation on order data is the core of the product rather than an add-on. Mailchimp and Brevo play their strengths outside e-commerce. If you want to switch: migrations to Klaviyo are part of our routine.
Yes. Lists, segments, opt-in records and running automations can be moved in an orderly way. The order matters: first clarify the data model and consent, then migrate, then switch over. That preserves deliverability and no subscriber gets lost.
Increasingly yes, with good judgement: SMS and WhatsApp reach customers where emails have to wait, such as shipping updates or time-critical offers. In the DACH region, expectations around consent and frequency are stricter than in the US. So we build these channels with their own consent and a clear division of roles versus email.
Not necessarily for a straightforward start: a practised team can handle the basic integration. An agency pays off where things get specific: multiple languages, multiple markets, migrations, clean GDPR mapping and the connection to the rest of your stack. In other words, exactly where a mistake in the foundation makes every later campaign expensive.
The technical side, yes: integration, data quality, new markets and languages stay with us. For strategy audits and ongoing flow optimisation we work with specialised Klaviyo partners such as Andzen, so you talk to experts in both disciplines. We agree the setup together in the first conversation.
