In close cooperation with the German Football League (DFL) and the sports agency “WWP (Weirather - Wenzel & Partner)”, we at Digit-One have digitally implemented another German Football League project and launched it with a new, appealing landing page.
A one-two with Digit-One to create the new website
We have come to know Digit-One as a reliable partner with whom we can go the extra mile, even when faced with tight deadlines. The friendly exchange on equal terms and the joint effort to work together in the interests of the customer make the collaboration particularly pleasant. Together, we have already launched and relaunched several website projects for DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH.
Whether it's social walls, Mapbox, or security updates, Digit-One has proven to be a well-coordinated team that communicates and impresses with quick passing between us and the customer.

Football brings people together
Sport, especially football, is at the heart of many communities. Bundesliga Common Ground is an initiative that aims to breathe new life into existing football pitches and give them a variety of uses, while preserving the essence of the sport. With this common goal in mind, we have teamed up with the DFL to create a platform that not only impresses from a technical standpoint but also celebrates the values of football and Common Ground.
We built the platform on WordPress, cleanly engineered and easy to maintain.
Shared responsibility for harmonious coexistence
The Common Ground initiative invites soccer fans and communities to actively participate in improving soccer fields. It is not only about improving aesthetics, but also about creating a shared space that connects people of different generations. By working closely with communities and soccer fans, it is possible to take into account the wishes and needs of local soccer cultures and jointly develop solutions for these meeting places.
Our task was to transform this core message into an appealing landing page that reflects urban culture with soccer at its center and highlights the liveliness of the fields and communities.

Bundesliga Common Ground is more than just a platform. It is a call for shared responsibility for the future of sport and togetherness. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of Digit-One, WWP, and DFL, a website was created that brings together the best of modern web design, a deep understanding of sport, and visionary collaboration.

With new openings coming soon and the DFL's desire to stick with this project in the long term in order to give something back to the soccer communities, we had to find a middle ground between time-to-market, easy content maintenance in the backend, and resilient technology.

With the help of our CMS setup, we were able to combine all these requirements and goals in the best possible way and launch a successful project.
