Creating connected experiences: Your custom DXP

More than just a website: your digital control center

Standard websites hit their limits when requirements get complex.

A digital experience platform (DXP) connects content, e-commerce and data into one consistent ecosystem, the digital control center for marketing and IT teams that manage more than a single website.

Our principle: horizontal orchestration instead of a monolith. Every system does what it does best, the headless CMS handles content, Shopify handles commerce, your ERP owns the master data and the platform connects them where your customers are. The result: digital experiences that radically simplify processes. Data flows together automatically, recurring tasks run themselves, and AI kicks in where it truly saves time, from product data sync to personalized delivery.

When do you need a DXP and when don’t you?

A DXP pays off when one of these sentences sounds like your day-to-day:

  • You run multiple brands, countries or portals and maintain content several times.
  • Your customers expect a personal login area with their own pricing and content.
  • Store, CMS, CRM and ERP work side by side instead of together.
  • Your content team spends more time copying than creating.
  • You want to personalize, but your data sits scattered in silos.

And when not? If a single website with manageable content is your goal, a well-built CMS is enough and we’ll tell you that honestly in the first call.

The building blocks of a DXP

A DXP isn't a standard product, it's assembled from individual components. Which ones make sense depends on your use case:

1
Composable architecture

The best tool for every job: we orchestrate best-of-breed systems through clean interfaces, following MACH principles. Swap individual components later without rebuilding the platform.

2
Personalized portals

Protected login areas for B2B customers, dealers or members, with individual content, pricing and features per user group. From one platform, without isolated tools.

3
Multi-site management

Dozens of country and brand sites from one central setup: shared data base, unified editing, new sites in hours instead of weeks, like b_smart with 20+ hotels.

4
Automation & AI

User data flows straight into campaigns and processes: marketing automation, automatic product data sync, AI-assisted content management. The recurring stuff runs itself, your team gains time for what matters.

Composable DXP instead of a monolith: why we orchestrate horizontally

A DXP is not a product you buy, it’s an architecture decision. Suite vendors promise everything in one system and deliver its limits, too: license costs, release cycles and a lock-in that makes every strategic change expensive. We build composable instead: specialized systems, connected through a lean, event-driven integration layer.

That’s not just a technical principle, it’s an investment strategy: business logic lives where it belongs, in the ERP, the CRM, the PIM, instead of in expensive platform workarounds. In our project models this means significantly lower maintenance costs and drastically reduced switching costs when a component needs replacing. Every system stays exchangeable; no vendor holds you hostage.

What belongs to a DXP? Typical components are:

  • Headless CMS for content across all channels
  • Commerce layer (usually Shopify in our case) for checkout and transactions
  • CRM and marketing automation for customer data and campaigns
  • PIM/ERP integration for product and master data
  • Analytics for data-driven decisions
  • An integration layer connecting everything event-driven

The starting point is always a proper discovery: which systems exist, where does which logic live, what should the platform do a year from now? Then the architecture stands and with it a project that stays plannable instead of sprawling.

How we get to your platform

Discovery. We analyze your system landscape, processes and goals and clarify where which logic should live.

Architecture. We define components, interfaces and data flows, documented and traceable before budget flows into implementation.

Implementation. Agile development with staging, code reviews and automated releases, live module by module.

Operations. Monitoring, evolution and a team that knows your platform. Not a project end, a partner.

Let’s talk about your system landscape.
